Hello. We would like to inform you of the management schedule and rules implemented this semester.

Please carefully review the new information, as it will be implemented starting this semester.

  1. Active User and Alumni Survey (February 9 (Mon) ~ February 11 (Wed))

Starting in the first semester of 2026, the Seraph server will undergo (1) the introduction of a Ceph Storage server (see attached information) and (2) the deletion of alumni accounts and directories.

As previously announced in the second semester of 2025, the alumni account deletion will be applied to graduate students who graduated more than six months ago and undergraduate students (student ID starting with 2019 or lower).

To select Active Users (heavy users with high server usage) for Ceph Storage allocation and alumni directory deletion, we will collect enrollment status from the following spreadsheet.

    1. If you entered a PhD program at your university after graduating from a master's program.
    2. If you entered a graduate program at your university after graduating from an undergraduate program.
    3. If you are conducting research in the 2026-2021 academic year (a separate application is required in this case. Link: link)

If you fall into any of the three categories above, please access the spreadsheet and check your name.

This survey will be conducted from Monday, February 9th to Wednesday, February 11th.

If you do not respond to the spreadsheet after the survey, you will be considered alumni and will be excluded from the Active Users selection and your alumni account/directory will be deleted.

After identifying graduates, we will provide further notice regarding the implementation of the Ceph Storage server and the deletion of graduate accounts/directories.

  2. [Changed] Resource Upgrade and Affiliation Transfer Application (Application Period: February 19 (Thu) - March 6 (Fri))

As with last semester, this semester's resource upgrade application will be processed via Google Forms.

(The Google Form link will be provided during the subsequent application period.)

Changes in affiliation, such as undergraduate → undergraduate research student and undergraduate research student → graduate school, will also be processed. Therefore, please use this form to apply for affiliation changes and cluster transfers other than resource upgrades.

Request Period: March 9 (Mon) ~ March 12 (Thu)

    Upgrade Implementation: March 13 (Fri)

  3. [New] Undergraduate Affiliation Integration and Dedicated Partition Implementation (Effective March 13 (Fri))

The undergraduate course categories currently categorized as Undergraduate (not an intern), Undergraduate intern, and Competition will be changed as follows:

Additionally, Undergraduate (not an intern) students will use a dedicated moana-u partition.

Students transferring to Undergraduate intern should complete the transfer during the 2. Resource Upgrade and Affiliation Transfer Application Period.

  4. [New] Dedicated Partition for High-Performance Computing Nodes (Effective March 13 (Fri))

A separate dedicated partition will be applied to ariel-k, m, and n nodes.

  5. [New] Compute Node Automated Dataset Management and Large-Capacity Dataset Registration for SSD Capacity Management (Registration Period: ~ March 12 (Thu), March 13 (Fri))

To alleviate the inconvenience and management burden caused by the compute node SSD capacity issue last semester, dataset management and large-capacity dataset registration will be implemented starting this semester.

The following policies apply to each cluster:
