Summary of work done

Loaded the current sa-copywrite-design skill and ran a read-only authenticated WordPress REST audit using context=edit. The audit reviewed 119 non-published WordPress pages/posts, all in draft status, and compared them against 562 published pages/posts. No live content was changed.

Created a reproducible local audit script at /Users/samaguiar/Documents/New Webpages/tools/audit_wp_drafts.py and saved outputs under /Users/samaguiar/Documents/New Webpages/audit-output/wp-draft-compliance-2026-06-14/.

Key result: none of the reviewed drafts should go straight to publish. Thirty drafts are exact or near merge candidates, including Sam Cares, knee injuries, spinal cord, Lexington personal injury, Louisville truck accident variants, hip injury, subrogation, commercial vehicle, wrongful death, nursing home, whiplash, truck discovery, herniated disc, full coverage, UM/UIM, hit-and-run, Uber/Lyft, and several truck-topic duplicates. Sixty-two more need merge review. Eleven need positioning/internal-link work. Sixteen appear unique enough to keep but still need compliance revision before final QA.

Reason for ending session

The audit and Notion export are complete. Publishing, merging, redirecting, or deleting drafts would be live/destructive or public-facing work, so this session stopped at the decision report and evidence files.

Suggested next steps

A practical next pass would start with the exact/near duplicate merge batch. For each item, compare the draft against the current published canonical page, pull only the stronger compliant sections, remove banned topics and phrasing, run pre-publish QA, then update only the canonical page/post. Keep draft IDs as rollback/source references until the merge is accepted.

For the unique drafts, revise before final QA. Highest-priority examples are CRPS, TMJ/jaw, FMCSA 2026 enforcement, Tesla FSD investigation, tinnitus/hearing loss, Kentucky 18-wheeler, and the community hub child pages. Common failures were banned or risky phrases, straight quotes, banned CSS child selectors, missing split hero/TOC/sidebar/form/schema, missing RankMath fields, case-worth or statute/deadline topics, and weak internal/external link counts.

Handoff information for a new agent

Use /Users/samaguiar/Documents/New Webpages/audit-output/wp-draft-compliance-2026-06-14/decision-summary.md first. It has the compressed decision layer. Use draft-decision-summary.csv for row-by-row triage, audit.md for per-draft evidence, audit.json for machine-readable details, and published-overlap.csv for published-site cannibalization candidates.

Important caution: published-overlap.csv is a candidate list, not an automatic redirect list. Some pairs are intentional hub/spoke relationships, location/practice variants, or redirect stubs. Confirm each one against live intent before merging.

QA and limitations

Verified the audit JSON parses and wrote the summary files. The current workspace already had staged bootstrap files unrelated to this audit; they were left untouched. The Notion enhanced Markdown spec fetch returned a validation error, so this record uses simple Notion Markdown only. The overlap scoring was tightened after the first pass to reduce false positives from shared injury-page template language.
