Summary

Investigated local agent filesystem and permission blockers in /Users/samaguiar/Documents/Projects.

Completed:

• Confirmed Codex is already configured with broad local access: danger-full-access, approval policy never, and trusted roots for /Users/samaguiar, /Users/samaguiar/Documents/Projects, and /.
• Confirmed local disk pressure is not the blocker: roughly 142 GiB free and no inode pressure.
• Found and moved 25 stale Git lock files into rollback storage at admin/rollback/agent-filesystem-preflight-20260517T123840-0400/.
• Restored user write permission on Repos/sail-marketing/approved-reviews.md.
• Added admin/scripts/agent-filesystem-preflight.sh for repeatable local audit and reversible repair.
• Added RUNTIME-CODEX.md and updated AGENTS.md plus CLAUDE.md so future Codex sessions know to run the preflight.
• Updated existing Git-lock cleanup scripts to preserve rollback instead of deleting locks.
• Loaded com.samaguiar.git-locks-cleanup with the runnable script installed outside Documents/Projects at /Users/samaguiar/.local/bin/sail-git-locks-cleanup.

Blocker

The immediate Git blockers are fixed. The recurring LaunchAgent remains blocked by macOS privacy/TCC when traversing /Users/samaguiar/Documents/Projects, logging find: /Users/samaguiar/Documents/Projects: Operation not permitted.

A reversible test removing com.apple.macl from the Projects folder did not fix the launchd traversal block. The original metadata was restored from admin/rollback/agent-filesystem-preflight-20260517T124200-0400/Projects.com.apple.macl.hex.

Verification

• Ran bash admin/scripts/agent-filesystem-preflight.sh --fix.
• Confirmed no remaining .git/index.lock or .git/HEAD.lock files in scanned Projects repos after repair.
• Confirmed git status works in previously locked repos including sail-marketing, sail-litify, sail-knowledge, and sail-seo.
• Confirmed approved-reviews.md is now user-writable.
• Confirmed LaunchAgent registration with launchctl print gui/501/com.samaguiar.git-locks-cleanup.
