Here are a set of retrospective questions I ask myself at the end of each year.

The goal is to reflect and look back on the highs and lows of last year, and capture ideas you have in mind for next year. You can copy and paste prompts in your notion page, a word doc, or write it out in a physical journal — whatever is easiest for you.

I like to do this activity in a cozy coffee shop while listening to some mellow low-fi jazz. ☕️🎶

    Something that made you feel joyful and alive

  2. What’s something you dreamed of doing last year that you manifested?

    How did you make it happen?

  3. Which individuals made the most impact in your life this year?

    How did they make that impact?

  4. What’s something you want to let go of after this year?

    Something that drained you or lacking excitement that you don’t want to continue

  5. Where were you under-resourced?

    What will you do to add more support in that area?

2026 Lookforward

  1. What are you looking forward to most next year?

    Personal or work-related

  2. What is a word or intention you want to set for yourself next year?

    Is there a value or feeling you want to embody?

  3. What goals do you want to commit to (or recommit to) next year?

    Something you want to maintain or start new

  4. Which big dreams do you want to commit to next year? What can you do to finally see it happen?

    This is a space for blue sky thinking — let yourself dream big without limits 💭
