Discussion

• A small commission has discussed different options with workdao and mydao.
  • There is concern from MG the contributors and several of us will get involved in the meetings.
• Update on projects.
  • Newsletter: subscribe in threshold newsletter. There has been an issue with bounced emails. Contact @John Packel if there is any issue.
    • October issue: special issue on staking and tBTC client going live, staking providers available, etc. Editorial meeting tomorrow or Monday to discuss and kick-off the next issue. @John Packel leading.
    • Staking providers discussions: better to have them in the #threshodler channel, to be able to compare notes and understand requirements. MG can provide them better information for people to have their questions answered regarding staking. @John Packel and @Nico186 leading this topic.
    • Suggestion by @the egg: trying to make active members of the community confortable with running their own nodes. A task for the IG and tech support with @Vict0r - This will need setting a Customer Support defined Process. It would be necessary to create a staking questionnaire- are you qualified to run your own node? Depending on the results → provide documentation to better understand how to.
  • Blog posts: updates from @LastThings - series 2 of Beau’s post.
    • Suggestion: create a content calendar for the blog posts - align with Keep’s agency to align with them for the schedule of postings. @hagan will coordinate Angels42 with the MG calendar - will be set in Notion.
    • Angels42 is working on the first opinion article: next week - will be pitched to earned media. @Hagan will provide information on this article when it’s ready.
    • Suggestion: blog posts on what to do with tBTC - get a SME with the writer to create good contents. Demonstrating the utility of tBTC in deFi. @hagan will share some contents the agency is working on, to align on this idea.
    • The video on thUSD is paused due to the legal issue. Discuss with Agoristen and Ben Longstaff on the term and the legality. @nous @John Packel will be involved in the conversations.
    • Blog posts - cross posted to the nuCypher’s and Keep’s blogs. @Ryan Caruso @hagan to review this. Directing people to the Threshold blog instead of triple-posting the contents.
• Update on review of hours/activities: they are contributions by @John Packel @Ashley - MrsNU @Nico186. @John Packel will consolidate this document - ready by Monday for discussion. Will be discussed in Tuesday’s call.
  • Contributor call topic - discuss how to manage the allocation of committee members number of hours allocation.
• Status of OKR details: go through each OKRs to review which of them have detail posted, and which not, and then sending a reminder to get an update on those that have not started.
• New business:
  • Translation: multi-language publications - more time on how to make it work. @Ryan Caruso will have a look at this customization. Next week we will follow-up.
