Name: Disad
Role in the videogame: Player’s guide / Narrative
Sex: Goddess
Race: Goddess
Age: Infinite
Profession: Goddess of the balance. She must manage to balance the creations of her sister Asdis, who creates without control.
Physical appearance: Disad has an adult appearance, but in her face, always serious, you can see the great responsibility she carries, which makes her look older. She wears violet clothes that represent the balance that she must seek and that her sister Asdis doesn’t facilitate. Disad is blind, but she sees through her power, the actions of living beings. This way, she isn’t distracted and is only aware of events.
Oral expression: Disad only communicates with her creatures and her sister Asdis. With Asdis, she employs a rough oral expression, tired of putting up with her sister’s follies. Her words are cutting and hurtful. Disad doesn’t understand that her own words feed Asdis' desire to keep creating uncontrollably.
Instead with the Aarendjin, Disad allows herself to be as she really is, without losing her seriousness. She explains to them the reason for their mission, nurtures their desire to keep serving her. She treats them like her daughters and by being part of them. She feels that they are the only ones capable of understanding her. She speak to them with a certain affection within what she is able to externalize. Disad doesn’t use hurtful words with the Aarendjin, unless it is strictly necessary.
Personality: Disad has a very stable personality. She is the older sister of Asdis, so she always had to have a very strong character to counterbalance her sister’s childish personality. Disad has very clear principles and cannot be fooled by anyone, because of what her profession entails. Without the balance, the world would end up destroying himself, so her mission is fundamental and she must achieve it no matter what.
Biography: From the beginning of time, Disad always had to keep her sister under control. Which was no difficult, but it did keep angry and busy. The problem came when Asdis created the humans, selfish beings who thoughts only of themselves and destroyed everything they touched and who also had the ability to think and learn. Disad had to created a superior race, very controlled, because much of her power would go to them: the Aarendjin.
The Disad’s limitation is due to her power. The creatures that she can “create” are extensions of her power. The more creatures, the less power she retains and less power she can control. When she creates the extensions, even though she has power over them, they are like living beings that make their own decisions. Disad has to know how to manage her creations so as not to lose their power completely.
The Aarendjin were her most impressive creation. They were extremely loyal to her and for centuries, they fulfilled their role to perfection. Since they had two power corse, they would not die until Disad did and that was impossible. When humans discovered the power cores and learned how to destroy them thanks Asdis' help and enlightenment, the situation became more complicated. It wasn’t only a war between humans and Aarendjin, but between the goddesses themselves. Asdis created humans to finally destroy her sister so she could create without rules. Disad didn’t stand idly by and therefore decided to actively participate in the war.
The defeat of the Aarendjin was an event that no one expected. Disad lost much of his power after the death of the Aarendjin, power that was taken over by Asdis and the Amane. Disad made a decision, she leave all his hopes in the only surviving Aarendjin, Nashla. Disad gave him more power by weakening herself, so that she could use the needles even if her core was damaged. After this, Disad rested, retired for years to try to accumulate more power for the new war to come and relied on Nashla.
During this years of rest, Nashla prepared the Civil War in the city Amani. From time to time, she heard voices from Disad, far away. She didn’t understand them, but she continued with her mission. When the time to start the war came, Disad awoke and began to guide Nashla. Disad was hopeful, but she realized something. A hatred and thirst for revenge flooded Nashla. The damaged core didn’t allow her to communicate well and she only watched Nashla sink deeper into madness. Disad only hoped that finally, she could fulfill her mission above all else.
