As the General Manager of Verse Immersive in Orlando, you will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the flagship installation and driving profitability through effective leadership and team management, budgeting and expense tracking, and strategic planning. You will work closely with a team of experts in the field of augmented reality entertainment to deliver an exceptional customer experience and generate customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the service, events, museums, entertainment, or related industries, including managerial experience, and be able to motivate and inspire their team to provide top-notch service. You should have excellent communication skills, both remote and in-person, and be able to work weekends and evenings as needed.
Key Responsibilities ➡️
- Manage end-to-end profit and loss (P&L) for the Orlando installation of Verse Immersive
- Lead and manage a team of staff members (holo-hosts) to ensure strong execution of the on-site experience
- Develop and implement plans and strategies to increase profitability
- Manage expense tracking and reporting
- Oversee all special events, buyouts, and partnership opportunities
- Ensure quality standards are being followed to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for customers and staff
- Serve as the liaison between the onsite staff and the remote leadership team at Enklu
- Energize, motivate, and inspire team members to provide an exceptional customer experience and generate customer engagement
Qualifications ➡️
- 5+ years in the service, events, museums, entertainment, or related industry, including managerial experience
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage, develop, and train a team of staff members
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to hold yourself and your team accountable
- Enjoy problem-solving and ability to multitask and think creatively in challenging situations
- Confidence in upselling throughout the customer journey
- Ability to work weekends and evenings
- Excellent remote and in-person communication skills
- Exceptional customer awareness and attention to detail
