Khohros gets an orange juice and tequila for breakfast, and Fang uses magic to grow a flower in it.
At the ruins in Isaac's vision, there is a willowtree, and since the local hunter Sarlen had a willow branch thing, he might know the location of the ruins.
We decide to prioritise the underground caves and then look for the ruins, so we send a Message spell to Sir Ricardo Giovani about how we have found Robyn & Calogero. He promises to notify Calogero's husband, Emidio Rumblepott.
We get offered some gunpowder by Jozef, and he also reveals a jar with one of the hand spiders inside. It appears to be slamming itself against the side of the jar, in the same direction no matter the orientation of the jar. It seems to be 'pointing' towards the house and the cave.
Inside the house, the scratching noise heard yesterday is gone. The house is completely quiet. The little hand wants to go down, and we follow it down. The body of the big spider creature is untouched. There are no signs of the small spiders, and we discuss the possibility that the spiders have gone back up the rift. We decide to try Dispel Magic on the rift, but before that we want to cast Detect Magic and try gage how 'powerful' the rift is.
In the cave-rooms, there is a horrible stench of the many brain-spider pods having popped. There are loads of tracks on the floor, which all seem to coalesce in the center of the basement.
We climb up towards the pillar, and inspect the rift inside. There are runes on the surface of the ceiling, but they seem to be inactive. Khohros decides he wants to have a peek through the rift, and turns into a Giant Lizard in order to climb up the inside of the tower and peek inside.
