The most common issues and how to fix them.
Check 1: Are you working in the duplicate, not the original?
Open your Framer dashboard and confirm you’re in the duplicated version. Rename your duplicate to something distinct immediately to avoid confusion.
Check 2: Did you edit a component instance instead of the component source?
Ivy uses components for the nav, footer, and several repeated elements. If you edit a component instance, the change won’t apply everywhere. To edit correctly: select it → right-click → Go to main component → make changes there.
Check 3: Are your Variables still linked?
If studio name or email looks wrong on some pages but not others, a variable link may have broken. Go to Variables and re-link any fields that appear as static text.
Check 1: Are your projects published in the CMS?
Each CMS item has a publish toggle. Unpublished items don’t appear on the site.
Check 2: Does every project have a Practice value?
Projects without a value won’t appear in filtered views (though they will appear in the “All” view).
Check 3: Clear the Framer cache.
Try Cmd+Shift+R (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows) to force a preview refresh after CMS updates.
Only one project should have Featured toggled on. If zero are featured, the slot shows a placeholder. If multiple are featured, the most recently edited one shows. Toggle off all except the one you want.
