It has been quite fascinating to see the rise of woke-ism and fall of the general left in France, at the same moment.

While numerous factors are indeed converging on those two movements, I have to say one is striking out : while the left was lost in "holier than thou" movements, woke-ism gave a few controversial but highly visible points and claimed nothing else than that.

To create a movement, and get traction, it is important to have a few very selected points that get the "friend or foe" direction, and then let everything else loose.

Important lesson for leadership : culture and expectations should not be all-encompassing. It should be laser focused on a few points that are important, and nothing else. Ideally, that way, misfits on other points get welcomed and thrive.

Time to build.
