| 1 | Re-group on findings from Prototype 1 user testing The team briefly discussed the main findings from P1 testing. Stamen noted there was nothing too surprising and that for them it reinforced the importance of including techniques in P2. VD asked if there were “eureka moments” that could be focussed on in the techniques. ACTION: SMG team to follow-up on idea of eureka moments. | | --- | --- | | 2 | Content The team briefly discussed the content structure and particularly the current division between “data” and “stories”. CC suggested that there not be a distinction between the two and that there be a one-to-one relationship between the data buckets and written text for P2 and that they be non-linear (i.e. can be clicked/explored in any order). SMG agreed to structure the content like this for P2. Stamen also noted that structuring content in this way would enable techniques to be linked to as frequently as possible. A filter by techniques may also be included on the map view for P2. SMG team was very positive about this and agreed it should be included. There was discussion about what to call the exhibit and whether the phrase Congruence Engine should be used. SMG noted this had tested poorly in the past but agreed that something that conveyed the idea of linking was important. ACTION: SMG to draft content in this way ready for structure and draft content to be shared at next team meeting on 10th September. | | 3 | Hardware NW updated the group on hardware choices. ACTION: NW to send hardware specifications and access guidelines to Stamen. Stamen to respond re: specification of Mac. | | 4 | Programme Stamen is on track for P2 delivery on 27th September. SMG team is slightly delayed with drafting content but will endeavour to deliver a complete draft in the w/c 9th September. | | 5 | AOB |
